About us

Prime Satellite Broadband is the international broadband service division of Prime Satcom Consulting Limited. Formed in 2003 by Tareq Khamis, a satellite engineering and business professional for over 35 years.

Prime Satellite Broadband quickly established themselves as a major player in the satellite service market with key customers including Cable & Wireless, Australian Broadcasting Corporation, Gloucestershire Fire & Rescue Services, National Grid (now Cadent Gas), Mercury Health (Care UK), South Gloucestershire Council, Birmingham Council, Thomas Swan Ltd, Lundy Island, Holland & Barrett, McDonald Restaurants (with O2 WiFi), W. H. Bence, York Potash, Laing O’Rourke, I & H Brown and many others. While most of our customers are in the UK (now served via website www.relialink.co.uk), we do offer services in Europe, Middle East and Africa and clients have included the Jordanian Royal Family and Riyman Computer Services.

Today, Prime Satellite Broadband has partnerships with Bentley Walker, Jola Cloud Solutions and others to deliver what we consider are the best value satellite and 4G services available to the international market today and in the future. This multi-partnership approach with our expertise on the technology available and comparative quality allows us to provide the best service for our customers.

Our aim is to provide a reliable and customer focused service. Hence we prioritise our customer service support to our customers. We will go beyond the parts of the service that we are responsible for to assist our customers to find any issue that might be affecting their service experience. It is important that our customers are more than satisfied with the service they get and that they know that if they need to call us they will be assisted completely through to resolution of any service issue raised.

Our Technology

Excellent coverage around the world

Prime Satellite Broadband uses the market leading Hughes and ViaSat's Surfbeam terminals which are well known for their quality and reliability. We also use the fast and proven Ka-band frequency to provide the highest speeds and lowest prices available (we can provide Ku-band services where Ka-band satellite coverage is not available). In Europe we use the Avanti Communications HYLAS 4 satellite which was launched in Europe in 2018 and the Eutelsat Ka-Sat Satellite for TooWay services. WIth Avanti Satellites we are able to provide coverage in the Middle East and Africa. Where these do not cover your location we are able to use other satellites to provide service. Prime Satellite Broadband provide a flexible, reliable and advanced satellite broadband service to customers, both residential and business.

We partner with Bentley Walker for our Avanti and TooWay services. Bentley Walker are one of the world's best and largest satellite service providers. They enable us to provide services throughout Europe, most of Africa and large parts of the Middle East.

Prime Satellite Broadband work with other satellite service providers too, such as Sky-Stream in the UAE using the YahSat satellites. We have a flexible approach so that we can provide our customers the best and most suitable satellite service available anywhere in the world.

Prime Satellite Broadband introduced 4G LTE broadband services in 2017 partnering with distributor Jola Cloud Solutions to complement our satellite broadband services. With Jola we are able to provide 4G services in most parts of the world using their Multi-network eSIMs. We can support fixed public IP addresses, Private APNs, data pooling amongst other services. Whether you are in a fixedlocation or need to have service wherever you travel we can supply a solution for you.

Best of Industry Customer Support

Providing reliable satellite Internet links is only one part of the service we provide. One of the key differentiators between service providers is the quality and level of customer support provided. Prime Satellite Broadband sees that it is this element of its business that has to be world class. While we are responsible for the satellite service that we control, we do not stop our support services at this point. The Internet is a very complex network and most customers are not able to easily understand why their Internet access is not working properly.

Our broadband link is only a small part of the whole Internet and your service may be affected by issues in any part from your local devices and network through all stages up to the remote site being accessed. If the broadband link we provide is working correctly our approach is to assist our customers to find where the cause of any issue resides, help our customers understand what the issue is and either assist our customer to fix the issue or point them to where they can get the issue fixed. We understand that customer support means assisting you to use our broadband services optimally.
