Transportable Internet Access

Demand for fast, reliable mobile Internet access is steadily increasing. Whether for rural educational classes, emergency services, mobile Scanners, mobile libraries or mobile Internet access cafés the ability to have broadband mobile Internet access wherever you are is essential for operations.

Prime Satellite Broadband supplies a high quality transportable Internet access solution that is affordable yet is reliable and fast. All the standard DStar services are available, depending on your requirements and a standard 96cm dish is mounted on a robust 3-axis motorised antenna positioner. The transportable Internet access unit is typically mounted on a vehicle, however can be mounted on a pedestal to use on the ground. 1.2-metre dishes can also be supplied where required.

Transportable Internet access units stow flat when not in use, thus when a vehicle is moving, minimum wind resisitance exists due to the mounted antenna. To access the Internet, the vehicle must be stationary in a position where there is a clear line of site to the satellite. To activate the unit the operator presses a single button on the control console and the dish automatically rises and sweeps the sky to find the satellite typically within 4 minutes.

The transportable Internet access system will operate in wind speeds up to 80mph. Prime Satllite Broadband only uses professional quality motorised antennas.
